It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. ==History== The castle was built north-east of the Jenins village around 1235 by the Lords of Aspermont. They probably occupied the castle and ruled the surrounding land until 1347. In 1536 the Three Leagues took over the castle and it was probably the residence of their representative.
